This page explains the cookies on the Retirees Abroad website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more generally.
What cookies are. Cookies are small files saved by your browser. Websites use them to work properly, to stay secure and sometimes to track visitors for advertising.
The cookies on our website. There are three kinds:
- A security cookie. Cloudflare, which hosts our website, may set a security cookie to protect the site and our forms from spam and attacks.
- Booking calendar cookies. The booking calendar on our planning form is run by GoHighLevel, our CRM, and is embedded from leadconnectorhq.com. It may set its own cookies when it loads, so the calendar works.
- Google Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people read and know when someone completes our planning or workshop form. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_K6383L2P1V, which last up to two years. It does not receive your name, email address or phone number. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
No advertising cookies. We do not use advertising tracking on our website, so there are no advertising cookies. If we start, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy first, and ask your permission on our website before any advertising tool runs.
Our emails. Our emails, sent through GoHighLevel, can tell us whether an email was opened or a link clicked. This does not use a cookie on our website. You can limit it by turning off automatic image loading in your email program.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the booking calendar may not work as well if you do. To stop Google Analytics only, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
