Last updated 23 October 2026.
We want everyone to be able to use our website, workshops and products, including people with low vision, hearing loss, limited dexterity or memory difficulties.
Our goal. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which is the standard the Australian Human Rights Commission recommends.
What we do.
- Large, clear text and strong colour contrast.
- Pages that work with a keyboard, screen readers and browser zoom.
- Descriptions (alt text) for meaningful images.
- Plain English, short sentences and clear headings.
- Forms with clear labels and no time limits.
- Live online workshops with a phone dial-in, and Zoom’s automatic captions.
- Captions on recorded workshops and videos, and a written summary or transcript on request.
Known issues. We are not aware of any problems right now. We last tested this website on 23 October 2026, using automated accessibility checks that run on every change, including keyboard use, labels on every form field, and layouts at phone and desktop sizes.
Ask us for help. If something does not work for you, or you need information in another format such as large print, a phone call or a transcript, email hello@retireesabroad.com.au. Tell us the page and what went wrong. If you’d rather talk, email us and we’ll call you back. You can also contact us through the National Relay Service (accesshub.gov.au). We aim to reply within 2 business days.
